Dear Parents,
Happy almost Valentine's Day. I hope you all had a fantastic extended weekend. Get ready for another one this upcoming weekend!
Poetry In Your Pocket is in full swing. Please ask your child to read you their poem in their pocket.
This week student's will work on sequencing events from a text in chronolgical order, they will take their geometry unit assessment, start a new unit on measurement and data, practice their 7s, write Haiku poems, and continue learning about fossils.
We will have a Valentine's Day celebration on the 14th. I will provide the yummies!

Please be sure your child is completing their Read and Respond and math homework nightly. Please check your child's math homework every night, and help your child complete their Read and Respond .
Third grade students must memorize their multiplication facts 0 – 10 before entering the fourth grade. STUDENTS SHOULD BE PRACTICING AT HOME DAILY!
A spelling list will come home every week on the back of our weekly newsletters. Please practice spelling words at home. Students will be tested every Friday.
Make sure to ask your child daily about what they are learning and if they have any papers you should read and or sign to return to school.
